Does the Wireless Room Valve (WRV-E) work on the HUB-B?

As technology has moved forward, we have updated the Radiator Valve that we sell.  We have tried to keep the system as backwards compatible as possible however, unfortunately in the case of the Radiator Valve, this was not possible.

The New Valve (WRV-E) requires a Communications Adapter to be fitted to the Hub and the Communications Adapter is only compatible with a HUB-C, not the older HUB-B.

Our advice is to first get the Communications Adapter and the Wireless Radiator Valves to replace valves near the HUB first, so that you don't need to purchase any more kit than you need to at this stage, and then over time you may need to also add some of the Genius Smart Plugs (Dual Band) to boost the signal for the valves that are further away from the Genius Hub.
