Step 1

Factory resetting a device removes it from any Genius Hub and removes any custom settings. It does not require a Genius Hub to power powered on/in communications range.

Ensure that the Wireless Radiator Valve has working batteries installed.

Step 2

First, r emove the battery cover. Do this by pushing in the tab on the back of the device, and pulling the cover up. It may be helpful to push down on the top of the valve at the same time. The battery cover will slide up off the body of the valve.

Remove one battery.

Step 3

Press and hold down the button.

Re-insert the battery whilst still holding down the button.

The valve will perform a screen test and show all the icons.

Release the button after 5 seconds.

If successful the valve will go into mount mode and 'M' will flash on the screen.
