The Genius Hub is on your home network and is protected by the firewalls set up on your broadband internet router. When you register your hub you give it a secure username and password which only you hold and this gives you access to your system from within your home or outside your home through your internet router. All of the data and intelligence of the Heat Genius system is stored on your Hub and your data is your property. We have chosen this over a cloud based system as this means that your system is safer from attack as you are connecting directly with the Genius Hub in your home rather than via our servers. Our system is has also tested by security experts though 'penetration testing' to ensure all steps are taken to make it secure.
